East Auckland Residential Upgrade

Owners of an east Auckland property decided that the street elevation of their house should be upgraded.

Sansom engaged an architect who, with the owners, specified weatherboard in place of the solid plaster cladding. The weatherboards were placed with a 50mm cavity and acoustic batts. New stainless steel rain water heads, and downpipes replaced the existing. The remaining walls were coated with Flexicote high-build acrylic.
