Sansom is currently involved in the construction of a 12-level student accommodation project with Hayden Rollett. Our scope of works includes the installation of the waterproofing, seismic, and fire-rated elements associated with the façade panel system. Our installation team works progressively through each level as the panels are installed, completing the waterproofing and fire-rated works.
Our team is trained and experienced in working at height, including working along slab edges under the required fall-arrest and restraint systems. As the panels are installed through the levels, our team completes the waterproofing works, including filling and sealing panel lifting eyes, installing soaker flashings and installing
Santoprene P-seals to the required panel interfaces. We are also responsible for installing fire-rated smoke seals to all floor-joint panel brackets and vertical substrate interfaces. These works are completed progressively in conjunction with the panel installation.
To further reduce health and safety risks associated with working at height, we have been able to complete a portion of our façade works onsite at Concretec during the panel fabrication process. Completing these works at ground level provides a safer and more controlled working environment.
