Supply and installation of comprehensive membrane waterproofing systems across multiple roof levels for this Remuera residential development.
The project involved installing Nuraply 3PM two-layer torch-on membrane to plywood roof surfaces across Level 3 and Level 4 decks and the lower roof area, including chase-cut flashing to concrete parapet upstands, bitumen fillets to all upstands, and detailing to outlets and overflows. The main roof received an Enertherm Non-Tapered Warm Roof System featuring 70mm PIR insulation boards with Nuraply 3PM two-layer torch-on membrane to both the flat roof area and gutters, complete with detailing to gutter outlets and overflows.
Upon completion, the entire membrane system was tested using International Leak Detection’s Electric Field Vector Mapping (EFVM) to meet Auckland City Council requirements. Additional works included the application of Sikalastic 152 liquid membrane coating to the Level 3 outdoor concrete deck, ensuring comprehensive waterproof protection across all roof levels.
