CLIENT AUCKLAND DISTRICT HEALTH BOARD (ADHB)
For 20 years, Sansom has held a facilities maintenance contract with the Auckland District Health Board (ADHB), offering daily maintenance services across Auckland Hospital, Starship Hospital, Greenlane Medical Centre, and Point Chevalier Medical Centre.
Our facilities maintenance crews are actively engaged in various construction tasks across all four sites, including waterproofing, roofing, façade work, carparks, and building surveys.
Crucially, our responsibility extends beyond the hands-on tasks. We are deeply involved in managing the behind-the-scenes logistics integral to our repairs and maintenance efficiency. From traffic management plans to the procurement of necessary materials, everything is meticulously planned weeks in advance to ensure smooth operations.
The hospital environment presents unique challenges and strict guidelines. With the added complexity of providing our services in spaces where the occupants are especially vulnerable, our planning is thorough and precise. We often have to break our work down into smaller, manageable tasks to minimise disruption to patient care. Our teams are specially trained to follow stringent safety procedures, eliminating dust, debris, and noise as much as possible.
